Dear all, once again this year we will meet in Castel San Pietro Terme, in the province of Bologna, for a weekend full of initiatives and that magic that the participants of the past editions know well and that every year comes back, on time, in the eyes. and to the heart.
Many years have passed from the first meeting to today and our community of parents and operators has grown slowly, going to form a real movement of citizens, parents and professionals who wish to bear witness not only to mourning and its difficulties, but also the possibility of mourning and transforming pain into something good.
We think a training weekend for those helping parents and families affected by the loss of a baby during pregnancy or after birth struggling with acute grief or post-bereavement pregnancies is a good thing.
We think a weekend of events designed for families with very recent perinatal bereavement is a good thing. When all the words in the world and the promises of a better future crumble helplessly in the face of the abyss of pain, having an outstretched hand and two eyes open to listening is a good thing, and can make a difference.
We think that involving citizens in a network of information and convivial moments open to all is a good thing, because mourning is better processed if where we live people are able to feel empathy. Often without a basis of correct information and listening education there can be no empathy. And this is the common experience of many, too many of us.
We think that our difficult and tragic experiences can be useful as testimonies for the new generations. We believe that breaking the taboo of bereavement, and in particular perinatal bereavement, makes sense and is good for those children who have arrived before or after a loss, for those children who are part of bereaved families, for all children struggling with uncomfortable emotions and disowned by society.
We think, we know, we feel strongly that taking some time to celebrate the love of our children who have gone too soon is a good thing.
Remembering them, in a beautiful and protected environment, remembering them together, remembering them, year after year and letting mourning transform and become more manageable and harmless, year after year, is a good thing.
Having lunch together, packed lunch or with the lunch prepared by the scouts is a good thing.
The smiles of the parents after the tears and the feeling of being able to make it that creeps and takes root in our hearts after the storm, is a good thing.
And then I am waiting for you, we are waiting for you, all of us. Do not miss.

‘Correspondence’ training course

This course, which began with online learning and distance learning methods in August, is the first of the two face-to-face training events. It is reserved for the volunteer operators of the AMA groups of CiaoLapo Onlus.

At the entrance to the garden there will be a CiaoLapo stand where you can collect information material and decorate your own butterfly that will embellish the balloons for the Balloon Release . It will be possible to associate and submit your own square for the blanket of memory , an art therapy project that has been going on since 2008. Inside the garden, the blankets made in recent years by CiaoLapo’s parents will be exhibited. The Ribbon of Love , the largest BabyLoss love ribbon in the world, will be previewed, made by sewing together squares of 15 cm by 15 sent by mothers and families from all over the world for this anniversary. - 10:00 – 13:00 Angels in swaddling clothes .
