Treatment of personal data
This page shows the privacy rules relating to the website www.ciaolapo.it, the website of the APS CiaoLapo ETS Association. These rules are explicitly accepted at the time of registration and the permanence of a user’s registration on the site implies in any case their unconditional acceptance.
The Association pays great attention to protecting the confidentiality and privacy of visitors to its website; nevertheless, we inform you that, in specific parts of the site, information on how to connect visitors may be automatically acquired in order to provide the best performance in viewing the site.
They mainly include information on the type of browser used, the type of operating system and the name of the visitor’s internet service provider. Furthermore, information is provided, exclusively in aggregate form and not individually identifiable, on the number of visitors and related statistics. The e-mail addresses and other personal data will be collected only and exclusively if intentionally indicated by the visitor himself and even in this case no use will be made of them outside the specific one for which they were indicated. Neither personal data nor any medical information communicated will be transmitted to third parties. The CiaoLapo ETS Association reserves the right to communicate the data entered by registered users or visitors to the authorities in the event of a suspected crime.
In the event that external sites are visited through links on this site, it is recommended to read the privacy policies that appear on them. CiaoLapo ETS is not responsible for the contents and activities of sites reached through external links.
2. Saving the data
Our registration process requires which personal data as indicated by the current laws pursuant to art. 13 Legislative Decree n. 196/2003 and the European Regulation for the processing of personal data (GDPR or 2016/679), the indication of name and surname, tax code, address, a valid e-mail address and a user ID and password. Entering further information is at the user’s discretion. Users are requested to take note of their username, e-mail address, and any other information they provide at the time of registration or afterwards. It is not allowed to transmit your login credentials to the site to others; doing this is equivalent to creating a fake user since it does not guarantee the transparency of communication between users. The violation at this point of the regulation represents a reason for the removal of the user from the site.
3. Use of data
All personal data acquired will not be used or disclosed, unless there are violations of the regulation or hypotheses of crime are found, in which case they will be delivered to the Postal Police and all legal actions deemed necessary will be taken. Users who do not comply with the regulation, carry out acts deemed contrary to the inspiring principles of CiaoLapo ETS or violate the common rules of civil coexistence, may also be suspended or canceled by the administrators at any time without the need for any notice or justification. Medical information communicated through the exchange of private messages and / or emails are to be considered covered by professional secrecy.
3.1 Personal data
The automatically collected data can be used to adapt and improve site navigation. The personal data collected will not be made available to third parties. Please note that the avatar and the chosen username will be visible to registered users and to all visitors to the site (even unregistered); under certain conditions (eg registration for events) the email address may also be visible, but only to registered users. Please note that the username and email address may contain the user’s real name or \ and other information that can lead to identifying his real identity and, consequently, may appear on this site or on others connected to CiaoLapo ETS . If you do not want to be identified by means of them, at the time of registration you must not use usernames or emails that can make them recognizable. CiaoLapo ETS cannot be held responsible for the disclosure of this information. The username will be used as the main identification element of the user on the website www.ciaolapo.it and on the websites connected to the CiaoLapo ETS Association; in case of violation of the regulation by a user, the username may be explicitly mentioned in communications to site visitors and other registered and non-registered users, by means such as chat, social networks, forums, newsletters, emails or others, as well as on sites connected to CiaoLapo ETS through which the Association deems it necessary to protect its image. Personal information is requested from users at the time of registration for security reasons, but is not made public (unless the users themselves enter it among the freely accessible information of the site), are strictly confidential and are used exclusively for use. administrative and security (prevention of registration of users not corresponding to real people). This information may be disclosed to the competent authorities in the event of a suspicion of a crime.
3.2 Social forums, chats, private messages and discussion groups
The posts inserted in the forum are usually public and accessible even to non-registered users and search engines (except for some sections). As for the chat and the social network, the conversations that take place in them are kept only temporarily. Administrators have access to chat contents and social network logs for a few weeks after their entry; the data is checked from time to time to ensure that these tools are used in compliance with the site regulations. The chat logs and status updates in the social network are automatically overwritten by the system in the weeks following their entry and are generally not further stored by the administration, except in special cases (for example suspected violations of the regulation). The logs of online self-help groups can instead be kept for an indefinite period and be reused and disclosed (also in congresses, courses, events, publications etc etc) for the statutory purposes of the Association, anonymizing personal data. Private messages are usually not read or checked by administrators. They are however kept in the site database and can be consulted by the administrators in case of need. As for the forum, all data in it, entered by users, are released under their sole responsibility.
3.3 Privacy and use of personal stories
All the stories contained in the forum, in the chat, in the social network, in the profiles or in any other part of the site remain the intellectual property of the authors who entered them and the CiaoLapo Onlus Association does not allow or endorse their publication, copy, transcription, in any form on any support (computer, paper, virtual, etc.) by third parties, outside the consent of the entitled person. In case of violation of the regulation and / or suspension and / or cancellation of a user, the latter loses the rights on all data entered on the site; the latter will become the property of the Association, which may dispose of them in any manner provided for by law. The Association has the right to use the stories, forum posts or chat logs or the contents of the social network by anonymizing personal data, in order to pursue its statutory purposes. By registering on the site you agree that the CiaoLapo Onlus Association can use extracts of texts contained in the forum, in the chat, in the guest book, in self-help groups (online or live) for statutory purposes (scientific research, training of staff, individual or group therapy etc etc) always anonymously and not for profit. Please do not enter any text, data, information, history or composition on the site that you do not want to be used for the aforementioned purposes and in the aforementioned methods.
Under 18s are not allowed to become members of the CiaoLapo Onlus Association. Subscribers to the site under the age of 18 must declare it by entering the date of birth at the time of registration.
6. Modification or cancellation of your account
In compliance with Legislative Decree 196 of 30/06/03, code regarding the protection of personal data (Article 7) and the European Regulation for the processing of personal data (GDPR or 2016/679), at any time the data users can be deleted or modified. Each user can independently delete their registration and all the data contained in their profile by clicking the “delete your data” option from the user menu (on the home page below, in the footer section). In this way the user and all the data associated with him are permanently deleted. Any posts in the forum and in the guest book are instead kept and may be used anonymously by the Association for statutory purposes for an indefinite time. If technical problems arise for the cancellation from the site, from the newsletters and for the elimination of personal data, contact the email email@example.com.
7. Changes to the privacy rules
These privacy rules may be extended, modified and improved by the site administrators whenever this becomes necessary, without prior notice or personal notification. Users are encouraged to periodically visit this page to check for any changes. If at any time a user does not consider sharing this regulation, he is requested to cancel his user from the site, since the permanence of the registration will be considered acceptance of the same.
8. No warranties
These privacy rules state this site’s standards for data maintenance and the administrators will make every effort to meet them. However, compliance with these standards is not guaranteed. There may be factors beyond the control of administrators that may result in disclosure of data. As a consequence, the security relative to the maintenance or non-disclosure of the collected data is not guaranteed.
