Treatment of personal data
1. Introduction
This page contains the privacy policy regarding www.ciaolapo.it, the website of the CiaoLapo ETS APS Association. These rules are explicitly accepted at the time of registration and the permanence of a user’s registration on the site implies in any case their unconditional acceptance. The Association takes great care to protect the confidentiality and privacy of visitors to its website; nevertheless, it is informed that information on how visitors connect may be automatically acquired in specific parts of the site in order to provide the best performance in viewing the site. They mainly include information about the type of browser used, the type of operating system, and the name of the visitor’s Internet service provider. Furthermore, information is provided, exclusively in aggregate form and not individually identifiable, on the number of visitors and related statistics. The e-mail addresses and other personal data will be collected only and exclusively if intentionally indicated by the visitor himself and even in this case no use will be made of them outside the specific one for which they were indicated. The site does not collect personal data.
No sensitive data or any medical information posted by users in the forum will be passed on to third parties. The CiaoLapo ETS Association reserves the right to communicate the data entered by registered users or visitors to the authorities in the event of a suspected crime. In the event that external sites are visited through links on this site, it is recommended to read the privacy policies that appear on them. CiaoLapo ETS is not responsible for the content and activities of sites reached through external links.
2. Acquisition and storage of data
The processing of personal data is based on the explicit consent of users, as well as the fulfillment of legal obligations and the performance of public interest tasks in line with the statutory purposes of the association.
- The registration process on the APS CiaoLapo ETS forum takes place on a dedicated portal and requires what personal data as indicated by the current legal regulations under Art. 13 Legislative Decree n. 196/2003 and the European Regulation for the Processing of Personal Data (GDPR or 2016/679), the provision of first and last name, a valid e-mail address, and a user ID and password. Entering additional information is at the discretion of the user. Users are requested to take note of their username, e-mail address, and any other information they provide at the time of registration or afterwards. It is not allowed to transmit your login credentials to the site to others; doing this is equivalent to creating a fake user since it does not guarantee the transparency of communication between users. The violation at this point of the regulation represents a reason for the removal of the user from the site. The data entered at the time of registration are stored on a secure external paid service that manages the forum platform(websitetoolbox).
These data are stored indefinitely in compliance with current security and privacy regulations by the service operator, to which we refer for legal information. - Instead, the process of registering as an Associate of the CiaoLapo ETS APS requires following the procedure indicated in the dedicated portal, in which, in accordance with current regulations (Delegated Law No. 106 of 2016, containing the principles of the reform of the Third Sector, and delegated legislation, in particular Legislative Decree No. 117 of 2017 or Third Sector Code), it is necessary to enter personal data (first name, last name, CF, date and place of birth, and address of residence) mandatory for registration as an Associate in the Single Third Sector Register(RUNTS).
This registration is not connected with the use of CiaoLapo’s website, forum and other online resources.
The data entered in the portal for membership registration is used in accordance with the law for tax purposes only and is securely managed by an external paid service to which we refer for legal information.
The President and Legal Representative (or her proxies) have access to these personal data, which are retained indefinitely and are not used for any other purpose except administrative purposes, as required by the Third Sector Code.
3. Use of data
None of the personal data acquired will be used or disclosed, unless there are violations of the regulations or there is a suspicion of a crime, in which case the appropriate information will be handed over to the Postal Police and any legal action deemed necessary will be taken. Users who do not comply with the regulation, carry out acts deemed contrary to the inspiring principles of CiaoLapo ETS or violate the common rules of civil coexistence, may also be suspended or canceled by the administrators at any time without the need for any notice or justification. Medical information communicated via private message exchange and/or email with forum moderators (physicians, psychologists, midwives etc…), is visible only to the professional recipient of the message and is to be considered covered by professional confidentiality.
Privacy management and all other
3.1 Personal data
Automatically collected data may be used to adapt and improve the navigation of the site. The personal data collected will not be made available to third parties. Please note that the avatar and the chosen username will be visible to registered users and to all visitors to the site (even unregistered); under certain conditions (eg registration for events) the email address may also be visible, but only to registered users. Please note that the username and email address may contain the user’s real name or \ and other information that can lead to identifying his real identity and, consequently, may appear on this site or on others connected to CiaoLapo ETS . If you do not want to be identified by means of them, at the time of registration you must not use usernames or emails that can make them recognizable. CiaoLapo ETS cannot be held responsible for the disclosure of this information as it is entered by the user in a public manner. The username will be used as the main identification element of the user on the website www.ciaolapo.it and on the websites connected to the CiaoLapo ETS Association; in case of violation of the regulation by a user, the username may be explicitly mentioned in communications to site visitors and other registered and non-registered users, by means such as chat, social networks, forums, newsletters, emails or others, as well as on sites connected to CiaoLapo ETS through which the Association deems it necessary to protect its image. Personal information is requested from users at the time of registration for security reasons, but is not made public (unless the users themselves enter it among the freely accessible information of the site), are strictly confidential and are used exclusively for use. administrative and security (prevention of registration of users not corresponding to real people). This information may be reported to the relevant authorities if a crime is suspected.
3.2 Social networks, forums, chats, private messages and discussion groups
Posts made in the forum are usually public and also accessible to unregistered users and search engines (except for some sections). As for CiaoLapo’s internal chat and social tools, conversations that take place in them are stored only temporarily. Administrators have access to chat contents and social network logs for a few weeks after their entry; the data is checked from time to time to ensure that these tools are used in compliance with the site regulations. The chat logs and status updates in the social network are automatically overwritten by the system in the weeks following their entry and are generally not further stored by the administration, except in special cases (for example suspected violations of the regulation). On the other hand, the logs of online groups and meetings are kept for an indefinite period and their contents (completely anonymized) can be reused and disseminated (including in conferences, courses, events, publications etc etc) for the Association’s statutory purposes. Private messages are usually not read or checked by administrators. However, they are stored in the websitetoolbox platform database indefinitely and can be accessed by administrators as needed.
As for the forum, all data in it, entered by users, are freely visible on the Internet and are released under their sole responsibility.
3.3 Privacy and use of personal stories
All stories contained in the forum, chat, social network, profiles, or any other part of the site remain the intellectual property of the authors who posted them, and the CiaoLapo ETS APS Association neither allows nor endorses their publication, copying, transcription, in any form on any medium (computer, paper, virtual, etc.) by third parties, outside of the consent of the rightful owner. In case of violation of the regulation and / or suspension and / or cancellation of a user, the latter loses the rights on all data entered on the site; the latter will become the property of the Association, which may dispose of them in any manner provided for by law. The Association has the right to use the stories, forum posts or chat logs or the contents of the social network by anonymizing personal data, in order to pursue its statutory purposes. Upon subscribing to the site, one agrees that the CiaoLapo ETS APS Association may use excerpts of texts contained in the forum, chat, guestbook, emails, self-help groups (online or live) and any other form of communication available for the statutory purposes (perinatal health promotion, dissemination, scientific research, staff training, individual or group therapy etc etc) always in an anonymized and non-profit form. Therefore, please do not include in the site any text, data, information, story, or composition that you do not wish to be used for the aforementioned purposes and in the aforementioned manner. At any time you realize that you have placed on APS CiaoLapo ETS platforms a personal information that you did not intend to share (or even in case you change your mind) you will be able to request its removal by writing to info@ciaolapo.it. CiaoLapo staff will remove the requested content as quickly as possible.
3.4 Data transfer to third parties
Personal data will not be transferred to third parties except for reasons required by law, such as in case of crimes.
Data will be accessible only to the President and Legal Representative of CiaoLapo, or her delegates.
Data used for statutory purposes, such as scientific research in collaboration with the PeaRL Laboratory of the University of Florence, will be disclosed only in anonymized form.
The key to link the anonymized data to the real user will be stored on a secure external platform (WebsiteToolbox), accessible only to the forum administrator (legal representative).
4. Cookies
Like many sites, CiaoLapo.co.uk uses cookies to improve user experience and optimize the services offered.
Cookies can be classified into several categories:
- Technical Cookies: Essential for site operation and performance optimization.
- Analytical Cookies: Used to collect aggregate and anonymous information about site usage, helping to improve content.
Users can manage their cookie preferences through their browser settings or by using specific consent tools.
CiaoLapo does not use Profiling Cookies (aimed at creating user profiles and sending advertising messages).
Site usage statistics are generated completely anonymously through external services (e.g., Google Analytics).
5. Minors
No one under the age of 18 is allowed to become a member of APS CiaoLapo ETS. Individuals under the age of 18 will be able to participate in the anonymous online activities, but they must declare their age by entering their date of birth at the time of registration.
6. Changing or deleting accounts
In compliance with D.Lgs 196 of 30/06/03, code for the protection of personal data (Art. 7) and the European Regulation for the processing of personal data (GDPR or 2016/679) , at any time users’ data can be deleted or modified. Each user can independently delete his or her registration and all data contained in his or her profile by clicking the “delete your data” option from the user menu(on the forum home page, top right icon). In this way the user and all the data associated with him are permanently deleted. Any posts in the forum and guestbook, on the other hand, are maintained anonymously and may continue to be used by the Association for its statutory purposes indefinitely. 7. Changes to the privacy rules
These privacy rules may be expanded, modified improved by the site administrators whenever necessary, without notice or personal notification (e.g., to comply with new regulations in force). Users are encouraged to periodically visit this page to check for any changes. If at any time a user does not feel they agree with these regulations, they are asked to delete their user from the site, since continued membership will be considered acceptance of them.
8. No warranties
These privacy rules state this site’s standards for data maintenance, and the administrators will make every effort to meet them. However, compliance with these standards is not guaranteed. There may be factors beyond the control of administrators that may result in disclosure of data. As a consequence, the security relative to the maintenance or non-disclosure of the collected data is not guaranteed. If you do not feel that the security parameters set out here are sufficient, please do not register on the site, do not enter your personal information, or unsubscribe if you do not feel that you can accept these conditions.
